The first China International Press Photo Contest, with the theme of
"peace & development," was shown in Guangdong's Shenzhen City on March
24th. A photo named "Wounded Iraqi Boys," taken by Fares Al-Dlimi, a
journalist from Agence France Presse, was awarded the highest prize.
Fifteen senior judges from China and other countries viewed more than
20,000 photos.
