A traditional Chinese wedding ceremony was held for an American groom
Erik Shapiro and a bride native to Shaanxi Province in the May First
Hotel in Xi'an City on May 26. Accompanied by a matchmaker and Yangge
Dance performance (a folk art form of dancing and singing derived from an
ancient martial dance), the groom Erik held a boisterous and grand
traditional Chinese wedding ceremony in the bride Wang Longjuan's
hometown - the ancient city Xi'an.
